Pride

My heart swelled in profound respect when I watched the President in the news this morning. The video shot was of him and the Queen toasting at the white tie dinner. They toasted with flutes of champagne. Then, without apology, the President set his untasted glass of champagne down on the table.

I love seeing a person working their program! It was the most profound statement I have ever seen of an alcoholic in successful recovery.

I have never been so proud!
